Guessing?: If it is on the right side and even in the middle, you could be experiencing gallbladder disease/stones. There could be gastritis or an ulcer. It could be a presentation of multiple other GI and non-gi issues. Sounds as though you need to be see and examined and perhaps have some testing done. Hurt to breathe?: Does it hurt to breathe? This would suggest pleurisy (also called "the devil's grip"). If the pain is also in your back and associated with nausea, you could have a kidney stone. That can sometimes also get worse with a breath. If it's just hurting in the tummy, you have gastroenteritis - food-born or viral. The exact location of your pain would be helpful. ...Read more

Pain in your abdomen: Hi that area you are describing is where your liver and gall bladder are. I would want to know if you have any other diseases, or are on any medication. I would want to know if you have difficulty or changed bowel movements. I would want to know your drug and alcohol history. And, i would want to know if you were overweight. Heartburn ?: Most likely this is acid reflux or heartburn but gallbladder disease could also be considered. Since lansoprazole helps it is more likely heartburn. Ulcer disease is also a consideration. You should see your doctor to sort this out. ...Read more

Fodmapa: bubbling is gas (air) taken in either from swallowing or from fermentation of sugars in the diet. The stomach and large intestine overlap in the vicinity you are referring to. Google low FODMAP diet ( fermentable Oligo-Di-Monosaccharides and polyols). The most well known is lactose.
