Possible herniated: Disc. Not sure. Ear popping is due to your inner ear, middle ear and eustachian tube. Your neck pain could be from your mastoids which is a bone next to your ear. I would see a family doctor and ask if you need to see an ENT specialist. ...Read more

MRI is not a diagnos: Spinal mris are massively over-ordered and over-read. Someone with no neck pain is just as likely to have these MRI findings. Good doctors make the diagnosis from your story, and from doing a careful physical exam. If significant sore: Throat especially with swollen lymph nodes, exudates & enlarged, beefy red tonsils - you could see your doctor's office tomorrow for a strep throat test/ culture. It would save you $ - as compared to going to the er. ...Read more

Likely TMJ : Headaches and ear pain are many of the presenting chief complaints of patients with tmj. You can sort out the ringing by protruding your jaw forward when the ringing occurs.
