A few thoughts..: We are prone to developing fungal and bacterial infections in places that are moist and rub together - the groin, armpits, etc. Shaving and deodorant can inflame the skin more. Your doc might take a culture to see if a bacteria is present and might start antibiotics or antifungal medications. Your doc might also suggest keeping the area dry and avoid shaving while rash is healing. Best of luck! ...Read more

Itchy skin turns into fast spreading rash like bumps when scratched. Both arms and right leg. Do have allergies & asthma. Not on meds for allergies.

Happy to help.: There are a couple of possibilities. First, dermatographism is a condition where scratching or marking the skin causes hives. Second, hives can arise without scratching as well. Antihistamines like Zyrtec/Allegra can help. If this persists, I'd recommend seeing an allergist who can allergy test you and help determine if other conditions are present. ...Read more
