Dry skin?: Since it sounds like a chronic issue and you don't mention skin changes, I'm inclined to think that you may have dry skin. Take short, cool showers (not warm, but cool) and be in and out. Pat yourself dry with towel leaving some water on body. Apply lotion over that to trap water in. If not improving, post a reply on this. ...Read more

My 2 year old eats tomato without a problem; this time a rash appeared on his face from where it touched him. Does this mean he is allergic to it?

Possible allergy: You don't want to jump to conclusions, but it sounds very suspicious for development of an allergy. There are many different types of tomatoes, so it may not be to all of them. 7 year old developed itchy rash first on back of neck later in day it spread to arms, stomach and legs no other symptoms, what is it and what to do?

Hard to say: If the rash is moving from a local to a general distribution it is unlikely a simple contact dermatitis like poison ivy. Generalized rashes can be secondary to an infection (virus or bacteria) a food reaction or bug bites. Without examining the rash it is hard to speculate on a cause or specific treatment. If it itches, Benadryl can be given for comfort. ...Read more
