I Have A Lump On My Groin Area
I have this lump on my groin area, it is about 2cm long. I can feel it and it is hard and moveable. I am wondering if it is tumor?
Groin lump: It is most likely a lymph node, but it could also be a cyst or nodule. Regardless, a hard lump should be evaluated by your physician, and if it is a lymph node further testing should be pursued.
Hernia: Need to have a physical exam. Hernia comes to mind in that area but without an exam can not say for sure.
I have small lump in my groin area its in red color and warm and also have a pimple head. What will be it?
An abscess: Sounds like you are describing an abscess... an infection caused by a bacteria that causes a collection of pus under the skin - often painful, red, inflamed. See your local physician to confirm diagnosis and obtain the appropriate antibiotic for treatment. The physician may incise the area and drain it for faster and more effective treatment.
I have a painless lump on my groin area. It is elongated and you can't see a head but when u squeeze it there is a cheesy discharge...what can I do?
Cysts: This is most likely a Epidermoid cyst. Sebaceous cysts are less common. Have your doctor take a look to be sure there is no superimposed infection or something. They are easily treated.See 1 more doctor answer
I have a hard lump in my groin area. It hurts to move it, it's about the size of a penny but very sensitive. Also visible, what could it be?
Inflamed lymph node: The lump you feel in your groin is likely an inflamed lymph node. This occurs if you have some abnormality like an infection occurring in your genitals or in organs in your lower body area like bladder or Prostate. If you are sexually active, there is concern for an STD. You should see your doctor and be checked for STD and other possible causes for an enlarged and tender lymph node.
I am a 51 year old female I have a lump on my right groin area it's about the size of a walnut it is very hard not too much pain hardly moves?
See your doctor: A lymp in the groin is most commonly caused by a swollen and inflammed lymph node. It is best first evaluated by your family physician. It is most commonly caused by your bodies reaction to a simple infection, but can be something more concerning. Depending on the location this may also be a hernia.

Lymph node or hernia: These are the common lumps in the inguinal region. Seek the advice of a health care professional to be sure is isn't serious.

Hi there, I have a tender lump in my groin area but slightly more on my vagina that my inner thigh. It almost looks bruised and red. Smaller on above?

I have a lump in my right groin area. My doctor said it was a hernia and he sent me to a surgeon who got a CT scan done it only showed lymph nodes.?
Yes: Seems like your surgeon was correct, likely identifying on their physical examination with you that there may be something else other than a hernia. A ct scan could possibly miss a very small hernia, but otherwise the finding of groin lymph nodes rather than a hernia indicates no need for surgery. Benign lymph node swelling is fairly common & slowly resolves over several weeks.See 1 more doctor answer
Yes but...: You can't know what it is until you get checked. May just be inflammation, but more serious things can be present as well. Check with your pcp or a surgeon for a checkup. Good luck.

I have a small hard lump in my lower groin area and one in between scrotum and anus. Should I be worried?
Possibly: A small hard lump in any area can be due to benign (not life threatening) and malignant (cancer, and life threatening) causes. I would recommend having a physician examine the lump sooner rather than later.
Hi I'm liam and I'm 17 years old, I have a lump under my skin in the groin area above my penis and am curious to know what it is, can u help me?
Lump under skin: If it is small and looks like it is where a hair follicle is located, it may be an ingrown or infected follicle. These resolve with time, or you can try a warm compress to try to draw out the infection and work out the ingrown hair. Also, there are many lymph nodes in the groin, so it may be one of those (they are normal). If painful, red, getting larger, go see a doctor.
