You should use crutches and keep weight off of it until bearing weight is no longer painful. Ice at least twice/day for 15-20 minutes to help decrease pain & swelling. No : If the injection helped tell your surgeon( not sure if it was in the hip joint or hip bursa)... Either way if injection helped than arthroscopy may help( for bursectomy or hip labral tear).
