See doctor: Many things can cause a skin rash but the more common ones are viral infection and drug reaction. Benadryl (diphenhydramine) only benefits hives caused by histamine but not other rashes. I've been taking fexofenadine for one week and I have come out with a rash all over my neck and my wrist and is now starting to spread to both hands.
Unlikely: Fexofenadine is an antihistamine and mast cell stabilizer which can help reduce an allergic reaction. Also look for other sources for the rash. A new piece of jewelry perhaps! ...Read more

See a DR: Itching without visible skin changes is extremely difficult. There are hundreds of possible causes, some of them very serious. On any meds? Vitamins or supplements? Illness or any other symptoms? Ever before? You need exam, blood tests, xrays, maybe biopsies. No antihistamine helps this. Brand of laundry detergent is not of interest.
