R meds the answer?: I would want 2know the specific reasons u aren't sleeping well. I'd 1st want u2 have medical checkup. If there don't appear 2b any underlying physical reasons, I'd then want info on your daily routines -what u do, what u eat, etc. Also, I'd what 2understand the stressors in your life, the thoughts run thru your head when u try 2 sleep & when u r awake. I've noticed when I have a licorice tea at night I have difficulty falling asleep. Coincidence? Or is there something to that?

A number of things: There could be sleep apnea. You could also have underlying depression as well, which can also disturb sleep. Caffeine may also disturb sleep, as can alcohol.
