I have had a sore throat, fatigue, white coating on tongue with red spots and a cough. Sore throat has disappeared but others remained for 8+ weeks.

See your doctor: Without knowing your medical history and medication use, hard to tell for sure what this is. Best to see your doctor and test whether the white coating on your tongue is thrush, a type of fungal infection. May need treatment for this. It is a long time to be experiencing fatigue and have this coating and cough. Need blood tests and a physical exam to assess reason. Please see your doctor soon.

To doc: This could be strep throat which it is CRUCIAL to treat. Go to a doc today and get seen. If a rapid strep test is done and negative, make sure you ask them to do a culture. Rapid tests can have false negatives 10-30% of the time and a Culture should be done to be sure you don't have it. Feel better soon! The kindest docs will swab with both swabs at once, and send the culture only if rapid neg.

I have a few red spots in the middle of my tongue and its white all around. I cleaned my tongue today and it started bleeding. What could it be? Could it be dangerous?

Possibly: Lesions that have not been determined benign or a normal part of your anatomy need to be evaluated, in person, by a doctor that can examine you. Without your medical history, including info on smoking, drinking, medications you might be on, age, etc it is impossible to tell what this may be. Have yourself examined by your physician or dentist to be sure what caused those lesions. All the best..
