Celft chin treatment: Filler injection is a very easy treatment for a cleft chin with little recovery. In the past, collagen injections were used, generally due to lack of better options. Currently, hyaluronic acid fillers (restylane, juvederm) and calcium hydroxylapatite (radiesse) offer better long term correction than collagen -3 months vs 6 months or more.See 1 more doctor answer

Perhaps: Cleft chin is caused by the adherence of the skin in the middle of the chin to the deeper tissues. Correction requires releasing these strong attachments and placing a graft of fat or muscle to add volume. Filling agents injected under the cleft might be of some value, however, the results will be limited if the strong deep attachments are not released.See 3 more doctor answers
My 1st baby had prs with only microganthia small chin & cleft palate. He is ok now. We want other baby. Is it going to be in 2nd pregnwcy as well?
No guarantee: Ask your pediatrician and even maybe a geneticist if there is something generic that caused the cleft.
My six week old daughter was born with cleft pallet. Her chin is also pushed back a little basically looks small and her nose is a little wide.
Cleft palate: Plastic surgeons can perform mirackes when doing surgical repair. Good luck!
Small cluster of spots on cleft of chin itchy and sore also glands in neck below chin are swollen and sore to touch. What is the likely cause?
Yeast: Any area were skin meets skin tends to become moist. This can allow for our own natural surface bacteria and yeast to grow. Yeast often tend to overgrow and cause itching. I recommend keeping the area dry with powder like zeasorb (over the counter) which keeps yeast counts down.See 1 more doctor answer
Special bottles: Babies with cleft palate, with or without cleft lip, have a difficult time generated a good, long suck because of the hole in the roof of the mouth. They swallow fine, it is just difficult to get the milk into their mouth. There are 3 major brands of cleft bottles that allow squeezing of the bottle to get the milk into the baby's mouth so they don't become exhausted trying to suck.See 2 more doctor answers

They are more common in females. Symptoms are commonly visual or headaches. Symptomatic cysts should usually be surgically drained with an expected good outcome.
