Why are you waiting: This can be due to several causes some of it is benign others may be serious, alcohol, tobacco, medications like Ibuprofen can cause this. On the other end of the spectrum possibility of peptic ulcer should be ruled out. ...Read more

No.: Ripping or tearing sensation is not normal in any pregnancy and could be a harbinger of catastrophic uterine rupture. This is a rare but potentially lethal complication seen more commonly with multifetal pregnancies as compared to singletons, especially if the mother has had prior uterine surgery (c-section, myomectomy or other).
