How can I heal broken blood vessel in my eye?

How can I heal broken blood vessel in my eye?

Time will heal: Think of this as a very visible "bruise" which will slowly, usually in a week, change color and fade away. If especially large, it can resemble a blood blister and become raised. It can also migrate across the surface of the eye since there is little under the clear membrane to keep it localized. In some people, if it's large, I have seen it creep into the lower lid skin with gravity. ...Read more

In or on surface?: If it is on the surface (you can see it in the mirror) it is most likely not a problem. Coughed or sneezed?: At times, a forceful sneeze or cough can rupture a blood vessel under membrance of the eye--conjuntiva. It is rather common and often causes no pain, only a scary looking eye. Often resolves completely w/o problems. Sometime, there is quite a bit of blood causing a thickening area and thus one can feel something there during a blink/eye movement etc...
If u r concerned, consult doc. Good luck. ...Read more
