I Got A Shot In The Arm A Few Months Ago And My Arm Is Still Sore
Probably OK: This is unusual but not unheard of. Sometimes there is some trauma to the tissue of the arm, or maybe a nerve, that just takes many months to heal completely. If it is generally getting better, you might just give it some more time. If you are concerned, or it is not trending better, you might have your health care provider take a look. ...Read more
I got two shots in my buttocks for Strep almost two weeks ago and one of the shots left a bruise and was really sore. Bruise is gone but is still sore?
I got a flu shot about a 1.5 weeks ago and bled when i got it. Now I have a deep bruise and some arm pain through the whole arm. Is this normal?
Not normal but...: Such a reaction is not "normal" but unfortunately is also not highly unusual. The flu vaccine can cause many side effects, some of them quite serious. This might be worth risking if the flu shot really worked but research shows there is surprisingly little evidence that flu shots really help! see http://nyti.Ms/16qehvo ; http://bit.Ly/19vzl7q ; http://bit.Ly/15y6igv try homeopathic arnica. ...Read more

I received a blow to the inside of my left knee a couple months ago and it's still somewhat painful, thoughts?
Is it getting worse?: An injury to the knee most likely causes bruising of the tissues, which gets better in about 3-4 weeks; traumatic synovitis from the injury occurs and can take upto 3 months to completely resolve. If its not getting worse, but has improved then just hang in there as I am sure it'll subside completely; if not then check with your orthopod and get properly diagnosed and treated. Good luck! ...Read more
I was in the garden a week ago and felt a pinch on my pinky toe......a week later it is still swollen and has had the pins and needles feeling?
Sounds like bite?: Certainly seems possible that your toe has been bitten by some form of "critter" which has obviously not left many clues except ongoing swelling with paresthesias. Your best bet is to see a physician who can get a good look at the swelling and toe to determine whether or not this is something that is likely to respond to antibiotics or something else. ...Read more

I had a tic in my knee over a month ago the spot still itches and you can still see 33 where it was at?
Not unusual, but...: The local reaction to a tick bite is not that different than what you would have from a splinter. The tick was a foreign body & your body is reacting to it. When removed, sometimes mouth parts break off & stay in the skin, which can cause a more prolonged reaction. Fortunately, these leftovers do not greatly add to your risk of tick borne diseases. If you have rash, fever, pain however, see a dr. ...Read more
