Your condition is not life-threatening but troubling. Yet it is usually treatable. Consult your doctor. ...Read more

I have samter's triad. My nose is runny all the time. Is this because of chronic sinusitis? How to treat runny nose?

Samter's triad: Samter’s triad is a pseudo-allergy. It produces allergy-like symptoms but via a different mechanism. Aspirin and non-steroidal anti-inflammatories (NSAIDs) block an enzyme called cyclo-oxygenase1 (COX1); this is thought to lead to an excess of substances called leukotrienes, which produce the severe allergy-like effects.
