I have terrible migraines that last hours and I twitch before I go to bed at night. Do you think I have simple partial seizures? I also get confused easily. I forget things easily.
While there is an association of migraines with seizures, the history is certainly not diagnostic. A few questions would be in order:
how long have you had migraines?
Do your headaches come with nausea, vomiting, sensitivity to light or sound?
Are there any triggers?
Is there a family history of headaches or seizures?
Have you ever lost consciousness or suffered significant head trauma?
I would suggest you see a neurologist to sort these things out and determine your best course of action.
Good luck and well wishes. ...Read more

Struggling w/connective tissue disease. Flares r well controlled but often get episodes of feeling like I'm in bad fog/easily confused. Makes job hard?
Yes: If your question is whether there is a connection between cognitive clouding and connective tissue diseases (ctds). Patients with fibromyalgia often complain about cognitive clouding, and the most current understanding is that the cognitive issues are a component of the illness. Other ctds are associated with widespread inflammation, and inflammation has been implicated in cognitive problems. ...Read more

Hard to focus, easily distracted, bcoming more forgetful n sometimes a bit confused. Is this bcs lack of sleep or something else? I get round 4.5h sleep
Sleep deprivation: Generally 4.5 hours of sleep per night is not enough for most people and will predictably create some irritability, problems with concentration and recall, and fatigue. Of course this begs the question of why one would be getting such little sleep - medications, drugs, a mood disorder or medical condition. If sleeping more doesn't help it woudl be generally wise to get medical consultation. ...Read more
Have connective tissue disease. W/ flares get brain fog, easily confused, head feels swollen. Temples are really tender at times. Head stings at times?
No: If anyone suddenly has a change in how they are functioning, that could be a sign of an underlying problem. I suggest having an examination by a qualified physician and to get this checked out. It could be something easily diagnosed and treated, but something which could worsen without the appropriate attention. As your symptoms could be many things, I choose to not just make guesses. ...Read more
Confused? Did vision get worse? Before: OD: - 2.00 - 0.05 x 105, OS: - 2.00 - 0.25 x 075. Now: Right: - 2.50, left: - 2.75.
Vision is OK: What you are describing, is a small change in the glasses prescription. That does not mean that your vision is "worse". Everybody's glasses prescription changes over time, and this is nothing to be worried about. Only if you are not able to see clearly out of the new glasses, should you be concerned. If that is the case, go back to your eye doctor and have it reevaluated. ...Read more
I get confused, many say there is a definite risk from giving oral, and others say it's theoretical and there's no documented case. Which is true?
Maybe it's all true: If a person engages in these types of fun activities, things can happen. Such a person MUST be able to handle the risks (high or low) or else will suffer from recurrent worries about having some disease from such activities. Therefore, only those who don't overthink stuff, should engage in such fun activities. The risk is there. If it is super low, there is no need to screen patients differently. ...Read more

Poor understanding?: You get confused? You mean, you can't understand the language, like a foreign language? Or, do you mean you become confused and then can no longer understand english? I guess I'm confused about what you mean as getting "really confused." if you don't know how to speak or understand the language, it stands to reason you are confused and can't interpret what is being said. ...Read more

I'm confused some doctors say BP should go up upon standing some say down. Mine was going down now it rises can I get a few more opinions on normal?
Both are right: There are multiple variables affecting blood pressure moment to moment. If the reflex that squeezes the veins to return blood to the heart is a wee bit sluggish or you're a bit volume depleted, it'll drop. If standing up took a little adrenaline, it'll rise.
