Sinuses: The eye is surrounded by four sinuses. The eye itself rarely aches without other vision symptoms, but any inflammation, fluid, etc in even one sinus adjacent to the eye can be very painful. Do you have a sinus: headache? Positional headache are often related to sinuses, but can be other things. Over the eyebrow can also be referred pain from the atlas vertebrae rotated on the opposite side.
