Doubtful MS: Agree with your doctor checking blood studies, but this is NOT MS in any fashion, based on your description. You and your doctor might consider a peripheral neuropathy instead, but even that is not clearcut. Work closely with your physician. ...Read more

A lot of causes: Numbness is a very non specific symptoms, meaning from a variety of causes---i presumed it was temporary?Short lived?It could be related to electrolyte or vitamin deficiency, change bp, anxiety, medications, substances, then multiple sclerosis, migraine, neuropathy if recurrent need to be checked by doctor--you need to MAP the area of numbness. ...Read more
