Infection: This description sounds like lymph nodes. It is common to get swollen lymph nodes during an infection. These will go away on their own. If they persists weeks to months after an infection, i suggest seeing your pcp for further examination. ...Read more

Probable infection: Throat infection probable cause of the problem especially if the two nodes are on the same side as the throat infection. With antibiotics for the infection/nodes, they should subside within a 2 wk. period of time. If the do get smaller and do not increase in number while on meds, one can rule out lymphoma. ...Read more
