Why do I feel like I am so hungry all the time? My stomach actually burns until i eat and then I am soon hungry again.
Hunger hurts: Many medications can increase appetite including mood stabilizers like valproic acid, pain meds like tramadol and oxycodone, antipsychotics like risperdal, and sleeping pills. Sometimes depression can manifest as increased hunger. It might be worth talking to your md about these issues. Tell your OB provide: There are many reasons to be tired in pregnancy other than just the fact that you are pregnant . At 25 weeks pregnant the most common cause of fatigue i see in my practice is iron deficiency iron stores can be checked by a simple lab test in your providers office . Lots to learn: You're young w/ lots to learn about this topic. There are many good sources of info - Mom, other adults - teachers, coaches, doctors, nurses, librarians, pharmacists. Possibly food.: If you're getting nauseated at certain times of the day, keep a log of what you eat and what you are doing before the nausea comes on. Certain foods and things like caffeine and alcohol can cause disruptions in the stomach. Also doing things like lying down or exercising after a meal can make people nauseated.
