Not normal: If you were a sparrow i would tell you that eating less than 800 calories per day was fine. By eating so little, your metabolic rate will drop and you will put on weight very easily. By limiting your self to few calories you will likely feel deprived which can lead to binging. Please tell your parents what is going on so you can get help from your pediatrician. ...Read more

YES: It sounds like you have done a great job! There is also the danger of "overshooting" and not being ablew to STOP a weight loss program! If you are "big boned" the BMI calculation may not be 100% "fair" to you! Keep Healthy and STAY WELL! Hope this helps! Dr Z ...Read more

My doctor said I should eat a lot of vegetable, small amount of starch and drink lots of water. How can I maintain my weight and not lose on this diet.

Protein? Oils/fats?: If a person is eating just vegetables (like those leafy ones), and a little bit of starch, she is probably trying to lose weight. To be on a balanced vegan diet with low carbs (little starch), she'll need protein such as from tofu or nuts, and probably need some "healthy" fats such as olive oil or nut-butters. She can ask the doctor about the best sources of protein and fats, for her situation. ...Read more

Do i burn calories -lose weight- with adderrall, can i eat normally but lose weight while eating my normal diet -that maintains my weight- ?

Adderall (dextroamphetamine and racemic amphetamine) is for ADD: Adderall (dextroamphetamine and racemic amphetamine) is indicated for ADD, ADHD, Narcolepsy, augmentation for antidepressants and other off label uses that your doctor may prescribe it for. It is not intended for weight loss. As an appetite suppressant, I believe it is very weak, since they're other medications that are indicated for weight loss.
