Healthy? Help What? : What is your definition of healthy foods? By who's criteria? I want to gain weight, i eat a lot of calories food but still i cant gain weight, no physical activities are done?
You need exercise!: To gain weight, eat more calories than you burn using healthy whole food sources like fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and beans/nuts. You will be getting plenty of protein if you eat a variety of vegetables and legumes. You will of course need to train hard and get enough rest to recover between workouts. Don't waste money on supplements. You do not need them if you are getting quality food. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

My 11 month old gags on food is that normal? He only eats stage two baby foods with out gagging. He wants to eat table foods & i feel bad that he cant
Probably normal: The nine to twelve month age can be tricky when it comes to transitioning from baby food to table food so probably what your child is doing is normal. I would continue the baby food and obtain a blender and purée the table food to see if he will take it that way. You may have to put some on your dinner plate at first and act like you will eat it in order to get him to try it. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

Rare but...: According to a recent survey, 7% of adult reported prior anaphylactic reaction, with food being responsible for roughly 1/3 of these. So in the grand scheme of things when people eat roughly 3 meals a day, multiple food items per meal, etc, the occurrence is indeed rare. Levofloxacin: It is important to take oral levofloxacin at least 2 hours before or 2 hours after any antacid or mineral supplement containing iron, calcium, zinc, or magnesium since these bind levofloxacin and prevent its absorption into the body. You could also be dealing with lactose intolerance, irritable bowel syndrome, or even a more serious inflammatory bowel disease like crohn's. Regardless, you need to be evaluated by your doctor for work up and treatment plan. Good luck. ...Read more
