General itchiness: With limited information and not able to see of you and your boyfriend have skin rashes or how it looks like, we could not give you specific advise. It seems that both of you have been scratching really bad that it leaves scar. Itching by itself does not leave scar. You should come see a local doctor to be evaluated and treated. Either an allergist or a dermatologist would be able to help you. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

Itching all over the body. No rash nothing at all. It just itches a lot all over. I put baby oil after i bath still its not okay!! :(?
See dermatologist: If the itching is so bothersome, you should consult a dermatologist since dry skin is apparently not the issue. The itch pathway is far more complex than we had thought and no longer just a matter of histaminic action. (I assume you have tried antihistamine already. If not, you may give it a try). ...Read more

Antihistamines: As an allergist I'm seeing A LOT of these types of symptoms with my patients. Antihistamines, or allergy medications, can help. I recommend OTC options like Allegra 180mg and Zantac (ranitidine) 150mg, taken together, even twice daily. This may seem like a lot, but I find that such significant itching needs higher doses. I'd try this and talk to your primary care MD re: an allergist referral. Take care. ...Read more
