I Can Hear My Throat Gurgling
Air: Most likely air getting pushed back up the top end of the esophagus. I cannot think of a concerning problem that presents this way.
LPR vs GERD: Could be laryngopharyngeal reflux vs GERD. See MD.
Been hearing a gurgling sound in throat that maybe coming from stomache. Been hearing everyday for about a week. Anything to worry about?
No: Burping and other sounds from throat are common. There is nothing to worry about. See your primary care doctor for exam.
I get quite bad acid reflux, is it normal for me to hear it gurgling and bubbling in my throat and burning my throat?
Reflux: o, that's not normal. Are you on any medications? Are you pregnant? You need to see your doctor and have a work up.
So, post Nissen, you swallow and hear gurgle back up to throat, like a had before Nissen. Now I have no reflux, but the gurgle. Is that because air is hitting the wrap and coming back up? I'm three weeks post Nissen.
Post nissen: Hi AmeetG, you will likely notice all sorts of different things. A 'gurgle' is not likely a dangerous finding. Things to looks out for are fever, loss of appetite, nausea/vomiting, pain, 'knot in your stomach', and severe bloating that doesn't go away. See your doctor should these issues arise. Hope that helpsSee 1 more doctor answer
Had Nissen one week ago to the day. I meet with my surgeon on Monday, but I feel my procedure failed. I swallow and can hear it gurgle back up to my throat. Am I still healing and this resolved, or failed Nissen?
Need time: One week is not enough time to determine if the procedure was a success or not. Follow your surgeon's advice, and give it time.See 1 more doctor answer
My infant just aspirated a small amount of liquid vitamins (total dose was 1cc). His voice has gone horse and I hear gurgling in throat. What to do?
Should be okay.: Aspiration of liquid contents with gurgling and intact swallow reflex most likely avoided any issues with it going down his wind pipe-trachea and lungs. If you encounter any problems with breathing or signs of increasing cough/congestion or fussiness/poor sleep/activity-see your pediatrician.See 2 more doctor answers
Coughing: Coughing without producing phlegm is likely related to a viral infection of the lower windpipe. Rattling sounds are due to areas where thick mucus is coating the walls of the airway. Supporting the immune system and monitoring for progression to a bacterial infection or pneumonia will serve you well. Keep your lungs active and cough out what comes up easily. Seek eval if worsening.
I hear a gurgling sound at base of head where my neck/head meet, like a small gurgle or small air bubbles passing through thin area when laying still.
Gurgle: Your esophagus traverses your neck and ends up meeting your stomach underneath the diaphragm on your left side. Air and fluid may gurgle, nothing to worry about. Stay calm and carry on.
Normal: Moving the trachea from side to side normally produces a clicking noise.
I've been having this pain on the left of my throat but the pain goes from my neck to my hear it's been 5 days and it hurts what could it be?
NEED TO SEE DOC ASAP: It could be something serious like an abscess in your throat that you can't see but might be able to feel. If you have any problems swallowing you need to see doc asap. It could also be something like sinus drainage and inflammation causing pain in the throat and ear. There is a tube that connects them. If the tube gets clogged your ear can't drain, gets backed up and can hurt.See 1 more doctor answer
I have been having throat spasms every day for 3 months. It's noticeable looking at my neck and you can hear it. It's annoying, will it ever stop?
Possible tic: At this point I presume you've seen an ENT physician and ruled out any pathology in your throat. That being the case I would see a neurologist to see if you have a tic.
I currently have some phlegm and a bit of a closed up throat. Am I not supposed to eat dairy? I hear it causes phlegm.
Dairy products: And chocolate are foods that commonly produce phlegm.
I don't have cough or pain in my throat, but didn't understand it gets almost choked, people are unable to recognize or hear my sound.?
When I exhale I can hear odd wheezing sounds. Sounds like it might be from throat area. What causes this? Do I need to treat somehow?
I have been having some pressure on the left side of my forehead. I have also been hearing like a sizzling noise in my throat.
Pressure on l head: Most likely sinusitis/otitis which can be indolent and relatively non symptomatic. GERD/ reflux may be associated with this as canTMJ. Can also be facial nerve irritation from lyme or herpes (if you get cold sores). If no eye pain unlikely to be ocular, like glaucoma.Very rarely a lesion or autoimmune process. Would f/u w/ doc

Well if just about: Anybody exhales really, really hard they can hear a little whining or wheezing. However, if you have shortness of breath or wheezing with more normal exhalations - this could mean that there is some swelling in your airways. If you have difficulty breathing please seek medical evaluation. Take care.
When I push hard to exhale I hear this high/low pitch whining sound and I have a mild sore throat, what is wrong?
Spasm: A whining sound or wheeze produced by forced expiration is usually a sign of spasm in the bronchial tubes. A dry cough often follows. The accompanying sore throat suggests any early bronchitis which is probably viral in origin. If symptoms worsen (more wheezing, deeper cough, fever) a visit to your physician is recommended.
