Decrease elevation.: You have to get blood to that pinky toe! remember to ice for only 20 minutes at a time. Then you can check with your physician and make sure whether there is a fracture, or a soft tissue injury. The AC will help keep the swelling down which will make it easier over the long haul. Bone callus is : Usualy something not clinically visible but rather seen on xray. If your shin hurts and you feel it's broken an xray would be in order, shin splints are another possibility. If there is a "bump" of some kind a doctors visit would be important as there are other possibilities like an exostosis, bone spur or even a bone tumor of sorts. ...Read more

You : You did not mention in your post if you have seen a doctor for this issue. If not then that should be done asap. You will need a complete examination and an x-ray. Often times clicking can signify damage to the ligaments and tendons in the shoulder. You will need an eaxm to determine if this is probable. Typically if an x-ray is done and it is negative an MRI may be ordered if a tendon or ligament injury is suspected. In the meantime, rest your shoulder and take advil (ibuprofen) or Ibuprofen for the pain and swelling. Best of luck. ...Read more

Is it swollen?: Tender to the touch? Any change to range of motion? Bruised? See a provider: If your knee hurts so bad you can't move it you should see a medical provider right away to be evaluated. At the age of 16, with a knee that you injured a few years ago, there could be several things causing pain.
