Only when you can: Be sure that the medication is the cause. Were you tired or prone to be tired before starting the prozac (fluoxetine)? Have you checked with your physician to see if there are possible medical issues that could cause tiredness. If the tiredness came after starting the prozac (fluoxetine), how soon after? Yes: I would not use either drug with a patient who has had a stroke, as the adverse effect profile might present in a far more intense fashion, especially suicide risks with Prosac. I personally feel uncomfortable with the approach, and recommend a visit to a geriatrician or psychiatrist to get this straightened out. ...Read more
