Age?: this makes no sense You are 20 and stop growing by 16 unless there is some endocrine disease. Till aid fractures only occur in teenagers who still have a partially open growth plate At your age that is impossible. Thus the term tillage fracture is wrong. I don't know what kind of fracture it is so the question cannot be really answered without more information ...Read more

Weight loss center: I recommend finding a weight loss center that consist of a team of professionals who evaluate you individually and not provide a "shot gun" approach. A physician should look at your drug list and make sure u are not on meds that is causing weight gain or preventing weight loss. A exercise person should eval you and design a program around your limitations, dieticians to work with you individually. ...Read more

I just had laminectomy and discectomy surgery, is it concerning for me to have pain again down my leg?

I just had laminectomy and discectomy surgery, is it concerning for me to have pain again down my leg?

Follow Up Needed: In some patients, having a nerve "un-pinched" or decompressed during surgery can be the equivalent of having an extremity "go to sleep" and then become painful and tingly when the extremity "wakes up". In other words, the nerve could be regenerating itself. You should still follow up with your surgeon to rule out a new pinched nerve or failed operation. Any more questions? Just ask. I am 61 year old woman. I have bad knees and have been told that replacement of knees is the only solution. What exercise can I do for this ?

Water exercises: One of the best exercises for "bad knees" is to walk in the shallow end of a pool. Aquatic exercises are beneficial because they provide resistance with less weight bearing. Stretching (maintaining flexibility) and range of motion exercises (to prevent loss of movement) are also important. See you doctor or physical therapist for more ideas. ...Read more

can i have plastic surgery?

Cherish your scar: You're free to ask a plastic surgeon about scar revision, but let's think. You're a 20 year old man. You had a nasty accident and your survived, and kept your leg. You surely have a great story to tell, and other men will admire your scar. Most women will think it's cool, too. We buy tattoos; we can only earn scars. Ice, stretch, NSAID: Kabaddi is a rough sport. Like other american contact sports, many joints can be hurt. Icing them and areas of injury/pain after an event is important. Stretching before and after is good too. You may need to take some anti-inflammatories or can take natural supplements too; omega 3's are good. Ice! ...Read more
