Not sure: If you are describing a muscle tremor, it shouldn't be directly related to surgery. Give it some time, it may be spasm in the muscle after the local trauma of surgery. ...Read more

Intention tremor: This is an intention tremor which is probably only a temporary situation in your case. It isn't parkinsonian. Unless this tremor continues or involves other structures, you wouldn't need to investigate further with a neurologist. Resting tremor: Most people with Parkinsons have a resting tremor. It normally stops with movement, including holding the hands up. It may be independent of position or posture otherwise. There are other symptoms too, it sounds like you do not have them. Although you may have a tremor, it may be a factor of your neuropathy, rather than Parkinsons. But it was a good question.
