I have been on 100mg Zoloft (sertraline) for a month for anxiety. I don't think i feel better and i might even be depressed? Do i need to increase the dose?
Talk w/your doctor: Are you working with a psychiatrist who prescribed the zoloft (sertraline)? It and other antidepressants require at least 4-6 weeks' trial for effectiveness. You may need a higher dose, but you need to discuss this with your own doctor who knows you much better than we on healthtap do. Please also avoid the alcohol since it can dysregulate your sleep and mood. ...Read more

I am currently on Quetiapine 25mg. I have found out I am pregnant and am not sure whether it is safe to take over the weekend until I can see my doctor. I am feeling very anxious and emotional and feel like I need to take my meds but haven't yet.
Whether to stop or continue quetiapine will depend on the reason why you are on quetiapine. It wouldn't be wise idea to stop it without consulting your GP . GP will be able to get obstetrician opinion to make a plan and guide you too . Please consult your GP or obstetrician.
I am taking Paxil (paroxetine) 25 mg i feel less depressed and more energy but i also feel really numb, should i wait or let my doc know what's going on?
Depression: I am not sure what you mean by numb - perhaps less emotional and not reacting to outside stimuli. This may be a side effect of the medications. Never abruptly stop your meds. Antidepressants can take up to a month to have a full effect, but may need a dosage adjustment. If you have been on Paxil (paroxetine) for a few weeks, then followup with your doctor and report your symptoms. ...Read more

Therapy?: Have you yet tried any form of psychotherapy? Zoloft (sertraline): Does "pdoc" mean psychiatrist, or primary care doc? Working with a psychiatrist on this may be helpful, especially since it looks like you're on lithium and wellbutrin (bupropion) as well. 200mg of zoloft may be fine for some, but some also notice feelings of emotional dullness with it. I suggest consulting with a psychiatrist in your community so that you get a good assessment ; personalized advice. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
