Yes: That is a common problem for mouth-breathers. It is best to see your doctor and if needed be referred to an ENT to find out why you can't breath through your nose. Partly cause it: Dry mouth will put you at risk for tooth decay because you do not have the salvia to remove the bacterium and their toxins easliy. There is more friction between your teeth so the enamel can wear quicker. Control your diet, reduce acids. Medication can cause dry mouth. Biogtene products can help. Sugarless gums. If you have fevers, swollen lymph nodes and your neck, severe sore throat and no cough then see your doctor to be checked for strep.
