Is it too early to take a rite aid at home pregnancy test? As of today my period is three days late

Is it too early to take a rite aid at home pregnancy test? As of today my period is three days late

No, not at all.: A pregnancy test may be (+) test as early as 7-10 days after the fertile period (mid cycle). You're still very young. If you're having sex but don't want to get pregnant, you should consider a very reliable form of contraception such as an IUD or contraceptive implant. You don't need parental consent to do this, just a phone call to Planned Parenthood or your personal doctor. Best wishes.

Not sure: Reasons for missed/late periods: low body weight, obesity, marked weight ^ or v, over-exercise, endurance athletics, breast-feeding, ^ stress, illness, eating disorders (bulimia or anorexia), anovulatory cycle (no egg released), travel, hormone irregularities, drug use, meds (i.e., birth control) or medical problems (i.e. PCOS). #1 reason is pregnancy.

I had spotting on the day my period was due but had a bpn on home pregnancy test did I test too early?

I had spotting on the day my period was due but had a bpn on home pregnancy test did I test too early?

Trust the test: Home pregnancy tests are very accurate. They are the same tests used in a doctors office. They can detect a pregnancy 7-10 days after conception. The best time to take one is when you miss your period. If you doubt the result you can repeat it in 1-2 days. If you were pregnant the hormone level would rise enough for detection.

My period is five days late could I be pregnant and is it to soon to take a home pregnancy test?

My period is five days late could I be pregnant and is it to soon to take a home pregnancy test?

No: Most home pregnancy tests are highly accurate once you have missed your first period. Follow the instructions closely and use your first morning urine. It also helps for a more accurate method to collect the urine in a disposable paper cup and dip the test strip inside for the prescribed time vs holding the strip in the urine stream. Refrain from alcohol and cigarettes until you know for sure.

How many days "late" for my period should I take a home pregnancy test?

How many days "late" for my period should I take a home pregnancy test?

5-7 days: If you have not had a period by 5-7 days after it is due, take a home test. If this is negative, wait a couple days and take another test. If still negative and no period, see a doctor.

Hormonal imbalance: Menstrual irregularities are not uncommon and anovulatory cycle is a common cause. If you miss more than two periods it would be time to see your doctor. If you do not wish to be pregnant, use contraception all the time. You may consider implanted contraceptive or an IUD. Consult this site for more information on this topic. Http://www. Nichd. Nih. Gov/health/topics/menstruation/conditioninfo/Pages/causes. Aspx Practice safe sex. Get HPV vaccine.

I am 4 days late in my period. If I take the home pregnancy test now (in the afternoon) will it give me accurate result?

May be: If it is positive, that is fine. A negative result will not rule out pregnancy. Take the test tomorrow. Use first morning urine and follow the instructions carefully

Get a blood test: Sometimes the urine test is negative early. Get a blood test to be certain or make sure the pregnancy test you took is very sensitive and repeat.

My period came five days late. I have had unprotected sex several times also had a negative & positive home pregnancy test?

My period came five days late. I have had unprotected sex several times also had a negative & positive home pregnancy test?

Unclear question: If you had a period, after the last episode of sex, you are not pregnant. If you do not wish to be pregnant, use contraception all the time, every time. You may consider implanted contraceptive, or IUD. Practice safe sex. Get HPV vaccine.

My doctor said I have a UTI but I have not got any pain and im five days late with my period I have tried home pregnancy test but they never work.

UTI Rx: I hope you have accepted a Rx for the UTI as many of these types of infections are asymptomatic in women and can lead to ascending infections to the kidney.

Home pregnancy tests: I do not mean to start an argument, but if you are pregnant and a certain amount of time has passed since you became pregnant almost every single home pregnancy product should work to pick up this important fact. The fda would not allow these tests to be offered if they did not work. Also a doctor would not lie to you if they did testing and your urine had signs of infection.

My period is 15 days late. Took a home pregnancy test, it was negative. Take birth control pills. Was taking hydroxycut 2 week stopped week 1/2 ago.

My period is 15 days late. Took a home pregnancy test, it was negative. Take birth control pills. Was taking hydroxycut 2 week stopped week 1/2 ago.

Need more info: It is not unusual for a woman taking birth control pills to miss a period. This is not a concern if she is taking the pills everyday at the same time of day and her pregnancy test is negative. She should continue to take her pills everyday. I do no know what hydroxycut is so cannot comment on your specific case.

Wondering if I am pregnant I have had my tubes tied for 13 yrs. But had miscarriage 2 yrs. Ago. Now I am 2 weeks late on my period my family dr. To me take a home pregnancy test if I didn't start by tuesday or wednesday so I did and it read negitive and

Obviously: Obviously when you had your tubes tied you should not have gotten pregnant again. I am concerned that you were able to even detect a faint negative on your home pregnancy test. We can detect pregnancy hormone (HCG) when the home pregnancy test is negative but you can see a faint line in the test area. I would recommend reporting this to your doctor and asking for a serum quantitative HCG test to make sure you are not pregnant. The reason for this extra concern is that with a prior tubal ligation, a pregnancy can be a tubal pregnancy which can be very dangerous. You need to be absolutely sure you are not pregnant and only a serum blood test can do this for you.

A few weeks later, one ovary releases an egg and the uterine lining thickens in preparation for a potential pregnancy. Pregnancy can occur at this stage if sperm fertilizes the egg. If the egg is not fertilized, the egg will leave your body and ...Read more

Pregnancy (Definition)

When your due date arrives, you will be more than ready to have your baby! Most women deliver the baby somewhere between 37 and 42 weeks. According to the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, only 5% of babies arrive on the exact due date. Approximately 7% of babies are not delivered by 42 weeks, and when that happens, it is referred to ...Read more
