Eating: You haven't lost any weight, which is the main thing. It's not necessary to "eat for two" Eat healthy, frequent, small meals. As the uterus gets larger, sometimes you don't want as much to eat because of pressure on your stomach. As long as your baby is growing normally, then he/she is getting the proper nutrients. Please relax: This is unlikely to cause anything but your initial worry. Only those germs that are successful in entering your blood (hard to do) can effect your baby. Viruses like german measles, the chickenpox, can and do cause problems, but simple issues that might bother you, like a cold, strep throat, a UTI or food poisoning are not going to get through the babies defenses. ...Read more
