COPD?: She may have copd. Cxr and pfts are very useful. Most patients need anti inflammatory medications such as inhaled steroids. Spiriva is often quite useful also. Albuterol dilates the airways but does not treat the underlying inflammation. Have her checked by a lung doc. ...Read more

Yes it can/something: We know house dust can cause cough and even asthma.But it can be due to something else like allergies,infections etc.And if it persists and keep happening time and again,then it needs to be checked and evauated by your doctor but if it is only one time occurence than nothing needs to be done ...Read more

No: Bubbles from a bubble bath cannot cause a croupy cough. croup is usually caused by a virus. There are spasmodic croupy coughs caused by allergies or asthma of childhood & latter are recurrent. Best wld be to take ur child to be evaluated and his pediatrician will guide u with proper advice regarding precautions and medications. Not really: What symptoms are you referring here? Esophageal cancer usually is presented with problem with swallowing- usually harder with solid food than liquid. Also, other symptoms like bloathing, pain/discomfort can happen. When the cancer spreads outside the esophagus- for instance the lung, liver -other symptoms related to the location of the spreads can occur like weight loss etc. Cough drop won't help. ...Read more

GE Reflux/asthma/CHF: If your cough occurs while lying down, it could be either cardiac or gastrointestinal in origin, instead of just pulmonary. If it is associated with shortness of breath and chest or back pain, you need to see your doctor right away.
