15 weeks pregnant. Used lysol cleaning wipes to clean bathrooms. No gloves. Had room fan on, and no windows. Is this ok? Wipes also contain peroxide.
Lysol wipes are safe and peroxide used topically is safe as well, I'm not aware of any pregnancy warnings. The fan is helpful and if there are fumes, the window should be open.
There are however lots of natural cleaning solutions that you can make yourself that would be safer. ...Read more
I am about 5 weeks pregnant and just did quite a bit of cleaning (without gloves or a mask) with lysol disinfectant wipes. Should I be worried?

There are no known cancer causing ingredients and no known dangers if inhaled to the degree you would be exposed while cleaning, so you and your baby will be fine. Likely, but: The most important thing is to make sure that you have started prenatal care and have confirmed the pregnancy is inside the uterus with your obgyn. Pregnancies can occur outside the uterus (ectopic) and can be life threatening and very painful). Again knowing more about your pregnancy and history would be helpful here. Assuming all is "normal" your pains are likely related to a growing uterus. ...Read more
