My cervix closed up within 1 month of having it dilated/hysteroscopy/endometrial biopsy done at the same time. Why might it have closed up so quickly?

Cervix.: Usually after that procedure, the cervix returns to normal very quickly. I'm not sure in what context you doctor said it closed up. He or she may have just meant that it is healed. I've never seen a patient have the cervix scar up shut after an endometrial biopsy with hysteroscopy. ...Read more

Likely okay: When a woman has a d;c it usually removes her lining. So long as not soaking a pad in 1-2 hours or less, likely okay. If you're already anemic, however, or have other medical problems, you might want to go to the er to make sure that you're okay. Heavy flow in and of itself, doesn't really describe how much bleeding you're having. You can always talk to your doctor or whomever is oncall. ...Read more

How accurate is an endometrial biopsy if you had one last year w/a hysteroscopy which was normal and a office biopsy last week same results?

Very: I assume that the biopsy was done for symptoms or as f/u for the prior biopsy and/or surveillance. If the findings were normal and the report agrees with your doctor's impression, then it's very accurate. ...Read more
