If they do a vag hystorectomy for endometriosis, do they do a laparoscopy to cut out endom in the abdomen aswell? Or do they jst do everything vaginal
Ask your doctor: With a vaginal hysterectomy the uterus is removed through the vagina, so the doctor is not able to remove endometriosis from other areas of the abdomin. Hi Preethi: I suppose you had anemia with your heavy bleeding before the hysterectomy. I think the medicine u describe is iron and folic acid. If so, stopping the bleeding by having surgery is very important to get better from anemia. A year seems a bit long to replace your iron stores though.
