Depends: There many different causes of hoarseness. The most important thing is for her to bee seen by an ENT to ensure there is no growth on her vocal chords. Laryngitis: See my tip on this. Try to rest your voice for about three days. Increase humidification in the bedroom, drink extra fluids, avoid shouting or raising your voice for about 2 weeks.
