Currently eating 1100 calories/day burning 350/day to lose weight from hypothyroidism. Now my sleep is disturbed due to hunger. Any suggestions?

NOT ONLY CALORIES!!!: If you are not taking enough thyroid medication or aren ot taking the correct type of thyroid medication, you will not lose weight because you will not burn calories normally if you do not have enough thyroid to govern your metabolism! ideally, you should eminiate carbs and live only on proteins and fats. Change it up: Weight loss is about diet and exercise. May need to switch things up. The calorie count isn't nearly as important as what you're eating. Limit carbs and eliminate sugar. The only concern would be if the absorption of the thyroid were affected by the fiber; that's not an issue if you take your thyroid pill on an empty stomach.
