Menstrual bleeding: This sounds like quite a bit of bleeding. It also sounds like this is new for you - that you are not used to having to change this much? I would have some blood work checked and then discuss treatments for excessive bleeding with your gynecologist if all blood work normal. ...Read more

Hypothyroid: Unlikely for hypothyroid to affect your periods in that direction. I suggest you see a gynecologist soon. That does not mean you are taking just the right dose of thyroxine. See your primary doctor about this. ...Read more

Since you have: Only been on thyroid replacement for less than a month, and it takes a full 6 weeks to reach equilibrium in your system and then be tested again to see if it's the correct dose, some of your symptoms may be due to improvements in hormones with correction of the thyroid deficiency. May be normal: The d/c may be from the cervix. You should ask for a blood test--quant hcg--to follow the pregnancy if concerned. And make sure you take thyroid medication and have levels checked each trimester at least. ...Read more

My period last week, but I still have what feels like severe menstrual cramps. The pain radiates down my left leg. I have PCOS and hypothyroidism. However, I've also been dealing with constipation for a few days, so I'm not sure if it's related to that.
