My dr prescribed prednisone 5mg twice daily for bronchitis. I take sinthroid 25mg for my hypothyroidism. Is it safe? I'm coughing and wheezing a lot.
Wheezing treatment: It is safe to take both medications together. There are no interactions between them. 10 mg total daily Prednisone is a low dose. You might need a higher dose if you are still wheezing. I assume you are taking antibiotic for bronchitis too. Talk to your doctor if wheezing persists and you don't get better.
