Can heart palpitations caused by anxiety and panic disorder be dangerous? I had ecg, echo and a 24 hour holter check out ok with 20+ PVC shown.

Palpitations: Can be caused by panic and anxiety disorders. But people suffering with panic and anxiety disorders can also have other common medical disorders manifested by palpitations. A simple ecg, echocardiogram and holter monitor do not adequately determine completely normal cardiac function. If they persist you need to pursue an explanation but with your doctor. This forum is inadequate.

Do I have anxiety or panic disorder? Sob chest tight lighthead sweaty palms heart palpitations. Had EKG pft blood work etc done months ago. Retest?

Panic disorder?: The symptoms you describe are consistent with sxs of panic attack (which incl anxiety, heart palpitations, shortness of breath, choking feeling, chest pain, sweating, feelings of going crazy or serious adverse medical event). psychiatric diagnoses are "diagnoses of exclusion" - meaning all other medical problems shu be ruled out first. If medically all nl, talk to ur doc abt tx 4 anxiety d/o.

Muscle burning, fatigue, heavy legs, heart palpitations, gerd, malaise lasts for mos. Diagnosed with ptsd and panic disorder. Anxiety cause these symptoms? My doc sees no blood test abnormalities.

Yes, but: Stress is a complex biology that produces many "non-specific" (vague, little on tests) symptoms. The symptoms you mention are within the spectrum of symptoms seen in chronic stress biology; but, that does not prove it is the cause for you. Since it has been going on for months and tests negative, stress a likely cause. Mechanisms complex and not simple to understand.

What can be the cause of heart palpitations and weird veins spasms?

See UR MD: R the palpitations associated with rapid hear rate or not, does it happen during exercise or not, do you feel dizzy and clammy and short of breath? The best would be to be examined especially during a similar episode by a an md. It can be from anxiety to what is called svt or supra ventricular tachycardia, or sinus tachycardia due to anemia o excessive thyroid function. See an md!
