Not to worry: This is rare and i trust the diagnosis is correct (i.e., not a scarred kidney from illness) and there's no genetic syndrome obvious. I'm also assuming that this was discovered incidentally, that your left kidney is normal, and that your kidney function is good. You can't donate your left kidney to somebody you love.
