Different medication: Denoltab is a bismuth containing compound that is often used for gastric ulcers associated with H. pylori. It coats the stomach and helps protect the ulcer bed to allow it to heal. Sucralfate has a different mechanism of action and may be more effective for bile reflux symptoms it also binds bile salts.
