As with most...: ...Natural supplements, the testing done on the safety and efficacy of the product was nowhere near thorough enough to any risk assessment, much less stratification. Shore answer: nobody knows.
Not known: Conjugated linoleic acid (cla) supplements are not fda approved medications, so there probably isn't any good research to support sellers' claims of health benefits. It's even more unlikely for there to be any good research on its side effects. The safer way to lose weight is the natural way, without the variety of "supplements" sold in stores or on the internet.
Probably not: Known as "the fat that helps your body burn fat, " conjugated linoleic acid (cla) presumptively helps reduce body fat and supports lean mass to improve overall body composition. Whether this presumption is true remains to be determined. This is not an fda regulated substance. The only thing it will be guaranteed to do is change the shape of your wallet.
Likely: Several studies have suggested a modest but statistically significant reduction of fat and an increase in lean body mass. At recommended dosage however, the weight loss is approx 1lb every 5 wks. Improvement in cellulite may result from weight loss but is not a direct result of the supplement.See 1 more doctor answer

There are some actions of these supplements that reduce caloric intake but no product beats your ability to make a choice at each meal about choosing the right food and eating only the amount you need for the day. Visit your meal on half. Simple.
I took hydroxcut pills which contained ephedrine (ephedrine sulfate) and caffeine. How do I overcome the hyper side-effects?
Stop taking it!: You can overcome the side effects of supplements by not taking them. The main problem is that there's no legal requirement for the manufacturers to prove safety & efficacy prior to making miraculous claims as long as they display the fda's disclaimer. However, the law also allows lax manufacturing so that contamination is a problem. Yes, this is akin to throwing out the baby w/bath water but. .
