Why??: Oxyneo is an effort to provide adequate amounts of the needed pain drug (oxycodone) in a form that is resistant to abuse, both by crushing and snorting, and by smoking. If you want to switch, I wonder what you are trying to get from the medication. Not long: Based on the omg! I would recommend going to the er! The half life of hydromorphone is about 2.5 hours. This means that the concentration of the total dose take is cut in half by this time. The higher the total dose the higher the blood level is. At high levels even cutting it in half may still have serious effects. Seek medical attention. ...Read more
