Aside from containing a narcotic, it also has homatropine which would probably have given you some vision problems, dry mouth, etc. You should discuss the dose of 3 teaspoonfuls with your physician as well, especially if you drive or operate other machinery. ...Read more

Yes and no: Hydromet contains both a cough suppressant and an agent that reduces mucous which may be exactly what you need but it won't unblock a stuffy nose so technically it's not a decongestant. Why?: Why are you concerned? If this was prescribed it should not be a problem. If on the other hand it was not prescribed for you, maybe you should be concerned as it can hang around for several days. The standard 5 drug panel doe snot check for hydrocodone, however. Hey doc I just accidentally took 15ml of hydromet syrup and I was wondering what it's gonna do to me my last dose was 4ish hours ago of about 5mls am I gonna be okay even though I just took triple the recommended dose for an adult?
I was prescribed 5ml every 4hrs of hydromet and pseudo ephedrine (ephedrine sulfate) 2 tablets every 6 hours. Is this too much? Or is this an overdose?

Acute is < 2 weeks.: The term "acute bronchitis" is a description of a problem, not a diagnosis. It could be viral, or a complication of smoking, or a mycoplasma infection, or asthma. Because they are different medications, it is hard to say what side effects you will have. I have seen patients who have nausea and emesis with Codeine and not with hydrocodone. Hydromet & Codeine: Hello. Hydromet cough syrup contains hydrocodone. You should not mix that with codeine pills since that is mixing two different opioids (narcotics). It is possible that mixing the two could make you sick. 5mg of hydrocodone is in hydromet.
