When discharged for e.Coli 8 days ago, dr gave me 50 pills of hydrocodone/ acetaminophen 7.5/750 to take every 4hours. Isn't 4500/day way too high?
Yes: I will avoid more than 4 gr a day. If you don't have pain don't use it. Check with your doctor for alternatives. Depending if its a chronic pain or a new onset of pain. Alternatives are aleve (naproxen) 200mg twice a day, tramadol, and others available. Consult your physician.See 2 more doctor answers

If you stop taking norcos, (hydrocodone and acetaminophen) can a drop show up negative five days later? Herniated l5
Don't Count on it: By a drop, I assume you mean a drug screen. The removal of drugs from the blood stream to a point where they are undetectable by common drug tests is variable for different patients.
How long will six percocet 5 stay in your urine, and two Norco (hydrocodone and acetaminophen) fives?
In theory, ~1 day...: We estimate how long it takes body to get rid of drug at 5 half-lives. Half-life is time it takes for drug level to drop by 50%. So after 5 half-lives, you're down to 3.125% if I did my math correctly, which is essentially out of system. Oxycodone stays in body 3-4.5hrs depending upon reference (http://www. Rxlist. Can you mix maca root with norco, (hydrocodone and acetaminophen) been off opiates for five weeks, and have been hurting ever since. Was on heroin for twenty years, methadone as well.?
See detox: Please see a detoxification specialist. I don't think that this is something that you can get advice on in this forum and you need a physician to prescribe your meds anyway.
Maybe: Taking tylenol (acetaminophen) or Codeine more frequently than suggested can cause nausea, lightheadness, possibly liver issues and many other problems. If you have other medical problems or take other medications the complications could be increased. Try to minimize over medication when possible.
As prescribed: Any narcotics should be taken as prescribed by md.

On hydrocodone 5/500 for 7 years before asking for dose increase. Is hydrocodone 5/325 a weaker medicine?
Can you tell me if on hydrocodone 5/500 for 7 years before asking for dose increase. Is the hydrocodone 5/325 weaker med?
Less tylenol (acetaminophen): Because of an increased prevalence of tylenol overdoses and numbers of people with tylenol-induced liver problems, the FDA ruled that no acetaminophen-containing combination can have more than 325 mg. Pills with more than 325 mg will not be available in the near future. Talk to your doctor about your tylenol dose - it should not be more than 2000 mg a day in general. Opioids should never be only RX
I'm taking 7.5/325 hydrocodone 2every 4-6 hrs but its not helping at all I've got c.R.P.S & its just getting worse. What's the next pain medicne I could take since this isn't working! Thanks?
See a pain specialis: Complex regional pain syndrome can be tough to treat. Sometimes nerve blocks can help. Just going up on pain pills will not solve the problem long-term. Ask your primary doctor to refer you to an anesthesiologist, a doctor who specializes in pain management. This kind of physician can help manage your pain meds, and see if there is a nerve block that can help you. Good luck!See 1 more doctor answer
