How long will six percocet 5 stay in your urine, and two Norco (hydrocodone and acetaminophen) fives?
In theory, ~1 day...: We estimate how long it takes body to get rid of drug at 5 half-lives. Half-life is time it takes for drug level to drop by 50%. So after 5 half-lives, you're down to 3.125% if I did my math correctly, which is essentially out of system. Oxycodone stays in body 3-4.5hrs depending upon reference (http://www. Rxlist. Excess: Much will depend on the patient-specific characteristics in this setting. This dose would normally exceed routine dosing recommendations but might not be considered abnormal in a patient with chronic pain and chronic opioid therapy superimposed on an acute pain event such as surgery. As always, close supervision by your md or pain specialist is of paramount importance to prevent interactions. ...Read more

Less tylenol (acetaminophen): Because of an increased prevalence of tylenol overdoses and numbers of people with tylenol-induced liver problems, the FDA ruled that no acetaminophen-containing combination can have more than 325 mg. Pills with more than 325 mg will not be available in the near future. Talk to your doctor about your tylenol dose - it should not be more than 2000 mg a day in general. Opioids should never be only RX ...Read more

See a pain specialis: Complex regional pain syndrome can be tough to treat. Sometimes nerve blocks can help. Just going up on pain pills will not solve the problem long-term. Ask your primary doctor to refer you to an anesthesiologist, a doctor who specializes in pain management. This kind of physician can help manage your pain meds, and see if there is a nerve block that can help you. Good luck! ...Read more

No advisable.: Do you mean taking it all at once? If yes, I would not advise it. You will have taken 30 mg of hydrocodone and 3 gm of tylenol (acetaminophen) all at once if you do it. 30 mg of hydrocodone may be too much for you as a single dose and 3 gm of tylenol (acetaminophen) leaves you with igm of additional tylenol (acetaminophen) before you reach the allowable 4 gm tylenol (acetaminophen) quantity limit/day. Tylenol (acetaminophen) and nsaids have a ceiling effect. ...Read more
Upper limit is four: In order to stay at the 2 grams/day of tylenol (acetaminophen) now recommended for people taking this chronically. The old recommendation of 4 grams/day would leave you at 8 tabs. The fda is requiring all companies making tylenol (acetaminophen)-containing combinations in the future to not have more than 325 mg in each pill, in which case 6 tabs a day would be safest. Zohydro-hydrocodone w/o tylenol (acetaminophen) will soon be available. ...Read more
