Dont understand ?: As far as i know, the lowest hydrocodone dose in oral meds is 5 mg. If it was prescribed for an appropriate reason, he should take it as prescribed and not overuse it. If there are pills left over, he should discard them safely afterwards. I don't know what your question is. Work w/addiction doc: Find an addiction specalist close to you & work w/him/her to get you off Methadone w/o getting you hooked on something else. Actually, who ever is prescribing your Methadone can work w/you by writing smaller & smaller doses each time. You're the deciding factor behind quitting. You can beat this.
