Hydrocelectomy Still Swollen 6 Weeks
Two weeks after hydrocelectomy, still sensitive & swollen bigger than hydrocele. Is this "normal"? If there isn't but stitch discomfort & pain do I worry about the testi? Getting better very slowly.
Probable hematoma: Getting better is a good sign. Swelling is either due to a post-operative bleed (hematoma) or some trapped lymph or combination of both. You may have been too active after surgery. A post-operative compression dressing might have helped. Certainly wear jockey or boxer brief underpants for support, not boxers & consider compression lycra shorts under your pants.. Should resolve. after 40 days of my hydrocelectomy there is still swelling as double or triple than other testicle and pain in the firm part of that ? what I do ?
