Hydrocele repair: After the surgeon has emptied the fluid filled sac, if he then carefully ties off the end connecting it to your abdominal cavity and cuts it out and discards it then it cannot refill. However, if he just tied a suture around the top (like a laundry bag) then there is a theoretical risk o refilling. Even if the surgeon is a jerk, which some of us are, it is your health and never be concerned about wasting our time.
