See your doctor...: You have multiple urologic complaints: penile pain and discoloration, and testicular pain. I would recommend seeing your doctor and having a physical exam including a rectal exam. A urinalysis and urine culture can help diagnosis a uti. You may need to see a urologist. ...Read more

Here are some: Did the urine look grossly bloody while feeling urethral irritation at voiding? If so, be checked out for UTI (bacterial/viral); besides, consider, check, & treat for common STD such as chlamydia, especially with urethral discharge. If no UTI is confirmed, gross bloody urine needs to be evaluated with CT.IVP + cystoscopy despite age 26. As to hydrocele, it may not be related with bloody urine. ...Read more

No: Hydroceles are pretty common in babies and usually go away by 12 months. In some babies the hydrocele requires surgery. If the hydrocele is "communicating" then there is a small channel between the hydrocele and the abdomen. If this small channel does not close completely you might be at increased risk for a hernia. If the hydocele has been gone for twenty years then i think you have no risk. ...Read more
